An Exploration On the Moods of Robert Downey Jr.
Today’s Emotion(s): A Mix of Unimpressed and SRSLY???
Robert Downey Jr is undeserving of the lowly, pedestrian reward called, the “Teen Choice Award.”
Of course he wasn’t going to win. I love RDJ’s work, and pretty much everything about him, but look at today’s teenagers. Heck, look at this award show. Every year, the Twilight series wins something, and you think RDJ is actually going to have a shot at winning? Look at who wins every year and tell me that an actor of such high caliber will win. Depressing isn’t it? An award show that puts the fate of each of its winners in the hands of pre-pubescent, pre-teen, and teenage girls isn’t going to give us sophisticated viewers the chance of seeing the real stars deserving their true recognition. Why would this award show be of any true significance anyway? The show is so horrid, I can’t even stand watching 10 seconds of it. The cheesy banter and screaming girls are enough for me to throw something at my television. What would he do with a surfboard that was probably made in China anyway? In the end, an award such as the Teen Choice Award is just child’s play. Give that man a star on the walk of fame! Give that man another Golden Globe! GIVE THAT MAN THE OSCAR. Thus I conclude my rant.
Huge thanks to my most recent followers!
Shout outs to panquequesmutantes and pepper-p0tts! Also, many thanks to all my followers in general and for tolerating the sheer randomness of this blog (especially RDJ, and Iron Man bombardment you receive nearly daily). You guys get the Iron Man seal of approval.
